Trey Mallory and his UNC Wilmington Men’s Tennis teammates rolled past 48th-ranked Delaware, 4-1, at the UNCW Tennis Complex in a meeting of the top-ranked ranked programs in the Coastal Athletic Association.
UNC Wilmington who are ranked 71st entering the week upped their record to 9-5 overall and 6-1 at home.
Mallory gave UNC Wilmington a 2 - 1 lead at fifth Singles spot. Mallory sailed past Delaware's Ismail Saadi, 6-4, 6-1.
Mallory would team up with Gabe Hurtado in the number 2 Doubles spot, but they would go down 6-4 to Tobey Lock, and Euan Mackenzie.
