Elijah Daley warmed up for the Carifta Swimming Championships with a 3 Record Broken, 7 Personal Best, 3 Gold, 3 Silver and a Bronze Medal performance during the MAC April Invitational in Canada.
Daley first broke the Bermuda 11-12 Boy’s Long Course 200m Butterfly record when he touched the wall in a Gold Medal time of 2:23.65, breaking his own record time of 2:32.24, set back on April 2nd 2018 during the XXXIII Carifta Swimming Championships in Kingston, Jamaica.
Daley captured another Gold Medal, this time in the 11-12 Boy’s 200m Long Course Individual Medley when he clocked 2:27.00, breaking Sam Williamson’s time of 2:33.74 set back on January 14th, 2017 during the BASA LC Qualifying Meet at the National Sports Center.
Gold Medal number three would come during the 11-12 Boy’s 100m Long Course Butterfly when he was clocked at 1:06.70.
Daley won the Silver Medal while competing in the 11-12 Boy’s 200m Breaststroke touching the wall in a time of 2:52.27. Daley also captured the 1-12 Boy’s 100m Breaststroke Silver Medal when he was clocked in a time of 1:19.90.
Record number three came during his 1-12 Boy’s 200m Backstroke Silver Medal performance when he was clocked across the line in a time of 2:31.23, this time broke his own record of 2:32.42 he set back on April 3rd 2018 during the XXXIII Carifta Swimming Championships in Kingston, Jamaica.
Daley captured the Bronze Medal during the 11-12 Boy’s 400m Long Course Freestyle clocking a time of 4:43.77.
