Daniel Phillips competed in the 56th Junior Orange Bowl International in Miami.
Phillips in his First Round Boys' 12 Qualifying match defeated Caio Cesar Lima e Souza in straight sets 6-3, 7-5.
Phillips would next defeat Carter Pate in straight sets 6-0, 6-3 to head to the Round of 32.
In the Round of 32, Phillips would go down in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 to Astro Pilipovic.
