Bermuda’s Men’s Davis Cup America’s Zone Davis Cup team of Gavin Manders, David Thomas, Jenson Bascome and Jovan Whitter will begin battle in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Bermuda are in Group III and will play on Outdoor Clay at the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club.
The Bermuda team captained by Steve Bean have been drawn in Pool B alongside Puerto Rico, Honduras, Jamaica and Antigua & Barbuda.
The winner of Pool A will play-off against the runner-up of Pool B and the winner of Pool B will play-off against the runner-up of Pool A to determine which two nations will advance to Americas Zone Group II in 2018.
Bermuda will begin with a match against Jamaica on June 12th, that will be followed by a match against Antigua & Barbuda on June 13th. On June 14th Bermuda will face Honduras and then they will close out the Pool matches with a match against Puerto Rico on June 15th.
