 As previous Medal winners in Football during the Pan American Games, www.islandstats.com is starting the conversation into Bermuda looking to qualify for the Pan Am Games, CAC Games, and Commonwealth Games in the Sport more often than we do.
Today we bring you the 2023 Pan American Games Qualification system.
Men:
Qualification of the National Olympic Committees (NOC’s) teams will be carried out through regional tournaments, considering the following:
1. The host country, will automatically qualify Men’s Competition.
2. The seven remaining men’s teams will qualify according to the following table:
CONCACAF Under 20 Tournament – Champions and the 3 teams: the best team from each region
The same rules apply for the Women, but it would be the W Championship Champions.
CONCACAF will confirm to Panam Sports and to the NOCs the places they have qualified before a date agreed.
The NOCs will confirm to Panam Sports and to CONMEBOL and CONCACAF the places they will use by an approved date.
Reallocation of unused quota places
If necessary, CONCACAF will reallocate unused quota places to the next best-ranked NOC that has not qualified yet.
The NOCs that receive reallocated quotas must confirm their participation by an approved date.
