BFA President Wade Speaks on Suriname Total Lockdown

The Government of Suriname, on Friday, announced a total lockdown of the country for two and a half weeks, in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19.
Bermuda is set to travel to Suriname this week to play their World Cup Qualifier on June 4th, 7:00 pm BDA time at the Dr. Ir Franklin Essed Stadium, in Paramaribo, Suriname.
The announcement was made by President Chandrikapersad Santokhi, who said that his administration has promulgated Code Purple, the worst risk level for the pandemic, for the entire country; and Code Black for the situation in hospitals.
The total lockdown will start on Monday and end on June 18th.
