Bermuda Defeat Aruba 5 - 0 in Florida

Bermuda’s second CONCACAF World Cup Group B Division match will take place at the Exploria Stadium in Florida, with Bermuda taking on Aruba.

This match started with both teams trying to find their rhythm, Lejuan Simmons picked up a yellow card early in the first half with a late tackle.

Bermuda would take the lead in the 36th minute when a ball from Calon Minors found Jahkari Furbert down the left-hand side, and his cross was put away by Kane Crichlow from close range.

The lead was doubled when Jaylon Bather headed in a Keishon Bean corner four minutes later. Bather rose high at the back post unchallenged and powered his header into the back of the net.

Bermuda captain Dante Leverock would make it 3 – 0 when he found the back of the net in the 57th minute.

Bermuda would make a triple substitution with Knory Scott, Chae Brangman, and Zeiko Lewis replacing Enrique Russell, LeJuan Simmons, and Jahkari Furbert.

With their first touch of the ball, Lewis and Scott combined to make it 4 – 0, a ball down the left found Lewis, and his cross was turned into the net by Scott for his first international goal.

In the 80th minute Crichlow would add his second goal of the game, he would win the ball about 30 yards out, he would hold off one defender, before beating another, Crichlow then beat the third marker before hitting a left-footed shot that went in under the goalkeeper.

Bermuda is now in 3rd place in the Group on three points behind Canada and Suriname who both have six points.
