Contractors have moved into the next phase of resurfacing the National Sports Center Track.
Following applying the polyurethane levelling material to the surface of the 400 meter track and in-field, the rubber surface was being laid.
Stadium official indicated that work is moving along steadily, and with good weather anticipated over the next few days, they are hoping to see the work progress at a rapid pace.
The original track was laid in 2001/2002 and has fallen into disrepair and with the NSC due to host the Carifta Games in April, a decision was made to have it resurfaced.
