NAHKI WELLS

A first half strike from Nahki Wells and a Jonny Howson own goal were cancelled out by Britt Assombalonga’s double for Middlesbrough in the team’s 2-2 draw at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Down 1 – 0 in the 25th minute Wells was on hand to tuck the ball through the legs of Middlesbrough’s custodian Darren Randolph to equalize.

NATHAN TROTT

Nathan Trott and his AFC Wimbledon teammates and Doncaster Rovers will have to do it all again in the Emirates FA Cup First Round after a 1-1 draw at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

In difficult conditions due to heavy rain, a cross into the box picked out Kwame Thomas in space and he headed powerfully towards goal, but Trott produced a fine reaction save to tip the ball wide.

With 15 minutes remaining, Trott had to stay alert to keep out a fierce drive by James Coppinger, who had been Doncaster’s most dangerous player throughout the game.

JONTE SMITH

Jonte Smith and his Cheltenham Town teammates drew 1-1 with Swindon Town in their Emirates FA Cup First Round match.

The game’s first goal came in the 90th minute when Swindon went in front as Jerry Yates picks up the ball 20 yards from goal, cuts inside, and drove the ball past Scott Flinders.

Smith’s 66th minute replacement Alex Addai did brilliantly in the Swindon box to unleash a shot that flies in.

REGGIE LAMBE

Reggie Lambe came off the bench to assist Cambridge United to earn a Emirates FA Cup First Round replay with Exeter City following a 1-1 draw.

Exeter City took the lead in the 34th minute when Alex Fisher had his right footed shot from the center of the box go into the bottom left corner.

In the 63rd minute Lambe replaced Liam O'Neil.

In stoppage time Cambridge United’s Sam Smith left footed shot from the right side of the box found the back of the net for the draw.

JUSTIN DONAWA & OSAGI BASCOME

Justin Donawa and Osagi Bascome came off the bench as Darlington avoided heartbreak in their FA Cup First Round match against Walsall in their Emirates FA Cup First Round match.

Darlington had taken the lead in the 22nd minute, but Walsall scored in the 85th and 87th minutes, but incredibly, with the last kick of the game Bascome struck a low free kick across the penalty area, and even though Donawa couldn’t get a touch, Joe Wheatley came in at the far post to knock the ball home and send the 1229 travelling fans absolutely crazy.

ROGER LEE

Roger Lee and his JK Tallinna Kalev teammates avoided relegation on the final day of the Estonia Premier Division as they picked up a 3 – 0 win over Viljandi JK Tulevik.

Lee and his teammates finished 8th in the Standings with 24 points.
