Jessica Lewis began competing in the Daniela Jutzeler Memorial 2019 International IPC Track Meet in Switzerland.
On the Opening Day Lewis would win a Gold Medal in one race and she would just miss out on a podium spot in the other.
Lewis raced the victory in the T53 Women’s 200 Meter race clocking a time of 31.96, Kelsey Lefevour from the United States of America was second in 32.04 and Yen Hoang also from the United States of America was third in 32.51.
Lewis finished 4th in the T53 Women’s 100 Meter race clocking a time of 17.33, which was a full second faster than her 100 Meter time she clocked on Saturday, Angela Ballard from Australia clocked a winning time of 16.50, Samantha Kinghorn from Great Britain was second in 16.91 and Kelsey Lefevour from the United States of America was third in 17.18.
Lewis concluded competing in the T53 Women’s 400 Meter race crossing the line 8th stopping the clock in a time of 1:01.11. Ballard from Australia clocked a winning time of 54.50, Chelsea McClammer from the United States of America was second in 55.28 and Kinghorn from Great Britain was third in 55.64.
