Bermuda’s Under 17 Girls National Football Team arrived back at the LF Wade International Airport to a Hero’s Welcome after competing in the CONCACAF Under-17 Girls’ Championships in Haiti.
More than 200 people including the Premier of Bermuda David Burt and other members of Parliament were full of smile and some tears of joy as the Bermuda team emerged through the doors.
During the recently concluded tournament, saw Bermuda defeat Jamaica for the first time ever, they maintained their unbeaten streak against Trinidad and they were the first and only team to score on Haiti, all these things were highlighted by coach Aaron Denkins who was satisfied with the team's performance.
