Bermuda 3 Jamaica 2Bermuda’s Under 17 Women’s National team went to battle in their second CONCACAF Caribbean Under 17 Final Round match in Haiti.
Bermuda defeated Jamaica 3 - 2 to advance to the Final Round.

Leilanni Nesbeth fired Bermuda into the lead in the 6th minute of the match when the referee assistant ruled her shot from the edge of the box went in off the crossbar, Nia Christopher then gave Bermuda a 2-0 lead in the 15th minute, before Gibbons made it 3-0 seven minutes later, giving Bermuda a comfortable lead at the halftime break.
Bermuda held a 3 - 0 lead at the break.
After the break, the Jamaicans came out with all guns blazing, and within seven minutes of play Christina Salmon fired past Za'khari Turner in goal to reduce the deficit.
Olufolasade Adamolekun got the crowd cheering again when she single-handedly destroyed the field, but her shot in the 68th minute was brilliantly saved by Turner.
However, she finally got her reward five minutes from time when she skilfully dismissed three Bermudian defenders before beating Turner with a powerful strike.
The Bermuda defense held strong and did not allow Jamaica to level the score putting Bermuda into the Semi-Final Round, they will wait until Friday to see if Jamaica and Trinidad will join them.
Bermuda for the first time have defeated Jamaica.
