Matthew Leseur has arrived down under for some training at Perisher in Australia.

Leseur has stepped up his training regiment in a bid to qualify for the upcoming Winter Olympic Games.

Recently the Bermuda Olympic Association (BOA) announced that two elite Bermudian winter sports athletes have received Olympic Scholarships through the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Solidarity programme in support of their bids to compete at the XXIII Winter Olympiad in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea in February 2018.

One of those athletes Leseur who competes in Freestyle Skiing will receive a monthly grant to support him as he trains for the Games, as well as additional funding to cover his transportation costs for participation in Olympic qualification competitions.
