Fletcher was back in action this time competing in the 2016 FINA Short-Course World Cup Series in Tokyo, Japan.
Fletcher came within .02 of a second of breaking the record he broke on Saturday, Fletcher competing in Heat Two of the Men's 50m Breaststroke finished 8th with a time of 28.67 which saw him finish 30th overall. Fletcher’s time for the new Bermuda National Record, which he set on Saturday was 28.65.
