The Dudley Eve Cup Competition continued, at the BAA Field with a Group B Double-Header, which produced 8 goals.
X-Road’s 2 Somerset Trojans 2
In the opener, X-Road’s and Somerset Trojans drew 2 – 2, Donavan Thompson gave X-Road’s the lead in the 28th, only to have Justin Corday equalize for the Somerset Trojans in the 33rd minute.
Jaman Lottimore put X-Road’s back in front in the 63rd, but Simeon Burrows leveled the score for the Somerset Trojans in the 81st minute converting from the penalty spot.
Boulevard Blazers 1 PHC Zebras 3
After a scoreless first half, the PHC Zebras took the lead, Paul Simons picked up the ball 25 yards out, and he blasted a shot that in off the underside of the bar to make it 1 - 0.
Seven minutes later the Boulevard Blazers were level with a goal from Kamali Davis, however, the PHC Zebras went back in front in the 82nd minute after being awarded a penalty, Marco Warren scored to the goalkeeper's left.
In the 86th minute the PHC Zebras went up 3 – 1, a free kick was swung in and Simons met the ball at the near post and scored his second goal of the game.
The win booked the PHC Zebras place in the Quarter-Finals.
