David Bascome’s Baltimore Blast went down 8 – 6 to the Chihuahua Savage in Mexico.
Chihuahua jumped out to a 3 – 0 lead at the end of the First Period, they would get single strikes from Alvaro Luevano, Hugo Puentes, and Adriano Nunes.
The Baltimore Blast would get back into the match as they scored two unanswered goals in the Second Period to go to the break with the score 3 – 2. Jamie Thomas and Tony Donatelli would find the net.
The Baltimore Blast would take a 5 – 3 lead at the end of the Third Period, Erik Lorent, Donatelli, and Moises Gonzalez would all find the net.
But the Fourth Period would see Chihuahua outscore the Baltimore Blast 5 – 1. Chihuahua would get 3 goals from Erick Tovar, with Luis Medrano, and Puentes both adding a goal each. Donatelli would get the lone goal of the Period for the Blast completing his hat-trick.
