Justin Donawa’s teammate Cameron Archer was the match-winner on his return to the starting line-up as nine-man Solihull secured a 1-0 win over Aldershot Town.
Starting his first game since the beginning of January, Archer’s tidy first-half finish was enough to give Solihull Moors boss Mark Yates the first win of his second tenure in charge.
The hosts produced a dominant display but were forced into rearguard action with Donawa coming on after the late dismissal of Mitch Hancox and then James Ball was dismissed three minutes from the end.
JONTE SMITH
Jonte Smith and his Woking teammate’s hopes of reaching a Wembley final for the first time in 24 years came to an end as they traveled to National League North side Hereford in their FA Trophy Semi-Final.
The lone goal in this game came in the 21st minute as Joey Butlin scored for Hereford. Smith entered the match in the 70th minute, but he could not help his team find the equalizer.
