Djair Parfitt-Williams and his Fylkir teammates took on Valur in the Iceland Cup Final, going down 5 – 4 on Kicks from the Penalty Mark in Sudden Death.
After a scoreless first half, Patrick Pedersen gave Valur the lead in the 46th minute, but Fylkir was level in the 48th minute when Orri Stefansson scored.
Neither team would find the back of the net for the remainder of the match sending the final to penalty kicks.
Both teams would miss a kick in the first five, sending the match to sudden death, Fylkir had their 6th kick missed, before Valur converted their 6th kick to win.

Kenni Thompson and her Civitas Santa Teresa Badajoz teammates went down to her former club Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña in their Spanish Women’s First Division match-up 3 – 0.
Athenea del Castillo gave Deportivo de La Coruña the lead in the 35th minute, Peke Barea doubled the Deportivo de La Coruña lead when she scored one minute into the second half.
In the 55th minute Deportivo de La Coruña went ahead 3 – 0 with a goal from Lady Andrade-Rodríguez, Thompson would make her way off the bench one minute later, but she could not help her teammates pull a goal back.
