The Bermuda Football Association held the 2017/18 Shield & Friendship Draws. On Sunday December 3rd at the Police Field in the Shield, Hamilton Parish will take on the Paget Lions at 12noon, and that will be followed by a Friendship match featuring young Men Social Club and the Dandy Town Hornets.
Also on Sunday December 3rd at Lord’s in St. David’s, the St. George’s Colts will take on St. David’s, which will be followed by a friendship match between the North Village Rams and the Boulevard Blazers.

DIGICEL CUP DRAW
Karlandra Smith from Digicel and Mike McGrath President of the Corona League presented the draw for the Digicel Cup, the Knock Out Cup Competition of the Corona League, at the city center Digicel store.
Representatives from all the Corona League teams met at the draw to find out who they would face in the Digicel Cup and waited with baited breath as Smith drew the names from the cup.
Lock & Key, West End United, Flanagans Onions & North Village all pulled the short straws as they got drawn in the preliminary round which will be held this Friday at BAA's Goose Gosling Field with Flanagans Onions vs. North Village kicking off at 7pm followed by Lock & Key vs. West End United at 9pm all battling for a place in the Quarter Finals in February.
In the Quarter-Final Draw the winner of Lock & Key vs. West End United will play the Royal Bermuda Regiment and the winner of Flanagans Onions vs. North Village will face the Tuff Dogs. The remaining Quarter Final games will be Vasco vs Robin Hood and the reigning cup holders Footy Kings vs. BAA Wanderers.
We will have to wait to see who makes it into the Semi Finals on March 9th 2018 as well as what excitement Digicel will bring to the half time show which saw footballing skills winning a tablet at the final last year but it all builds to that Final on April 20th to see who has the honor and bragging rights of lifting the Digicel Cup.
