Bermuda Football Association Under 17 National Academy Coach Dennis Brown has resigned his position effective immediately for what he describes as unfortunate circumstances.
Brown stated, “I have been made the scapegoat for the team not advancing, because I chose to stay in Bermuda and complete the UEFA B License Course.”
“I appealed the ruling that they sanctioned me with, they had an appeal without me, they said I abandoned the boys which I took to heart,” continued Brown.
Bermuda Football Association Technical Development Director Maurice Lowe confirmed that the Bermuda Football Association had accepted the resignation of former coach Brown.
Lowe said, “Brown has broken the terms of his employment with the Bermuda Football Association, he had a disciplinary process and then an appeal process, and he did not approve to the ruling that was handed down.”
www.islandstats.com can confirm that Brown is expected to meet with Bermuda Football Association officials this week, we will keep you informed with any updates as the matter arises.
