www.islandstats.com can confirm that Premier Division club Devonshire Cougars will be coached for the 2016/17 Premier Division Season by Omar Butterfield.
Butterfield who was an assistant coach last season under former coach Kwame Steede, stepped up to take more of a leadership role when Steede took to the field.
Steede decided he wanted to be involved on the field still so relinquished the coaching role.
Butterfield’s first test in his new leadership role will come on Monday September 5th when the Devonshire Cougars take on the North Village Rams who themselves have a new coach in Devarr Boyles at 3pm at the BAA Field.
