At the Somerset Cricket Club in pouring rain at times the league leaders Somerset Trojans and the bottom place team St. George’s Colts ended this match level at 1 – 1.
Midway through the first half the Somerset Trojans went ahead through an own goal, but moments before the half time break Jarreau Hayward equalized for the St. George’s Colts,
Neither team would beat the opposing goalkeeper in the second half as they both take the point they started the match with.
CORONA LEAGUE
Lock N Key 4 Tuff Dogs 2 Tuff Dogs lost their first Corona League match in almost two calendar years when they went down 4 – 2 to Lock N Key. Dion Stovell, Stevie Astwood, Marvin Belboda and Otis Minors all found the back of the net for Lock N Key, while Milton Ferreira and Jeff Franklin scored for Tuff Dogs.
West End United 3 Vasco 2
In the nightcap West End United defeated Vasco 3 – 2, Duncan Barclay, Trevor Corday and Chris Desilva all scored a goal each for West End United, while Quincy Panyter and Kevin Arruda scored a goal each for Vasco.
