At the Devonshire Rec. the Boulevard Blazers continued their good start to the season with a 4 – 1 win over Wolves. Ian Coke gave the Boulevard Blazers the lead in the 2nd minute, only to have Steven Bremar equalize for Wolves when he converted from the penalty spot in the 17th minute. Coke would once again give the Boulevard Blazers the lead this time in the 29th minute, TiaVince Douglas would increase the Boulevard Blazers lead with a goal in the 61st minute and then in the 88th minute Coke would complete his hat-trick earning the Boulevard Blazers the win.
PREMIER DIVISION
Devonshire Cougars 1 Dandy Town Hornets 2
This Premier Division match saw the Devonshire Cougars looking to protect their home soil, while the Dandy Town Hornets were looking for their first League win of the season. The Devonshire Cougars went ahead in the 38th minute when Drewonde Bascome followed up his penalty kick saved to put away the rebound, that lead would stand at the break.
In the second half the Dandy Town Hornets still smarting after winning the Dudley Eve Trophy nine days ago, pulled a goal back in the 52nd minute when Angelo Simmons found the back of the net, five minutes later the Dandy Town Hornets found themselves in front when K’wonde Lathan scored, neither goalkeeper would be beaten again as the Dandy Town Hornets picked up their first League win of the season.
