An international fleet featuring the reigning two-time world champion Paul Goodison of the U.K. is set to contend the Bacardi Moth World Championship next week on Bermuda’s Great Sound.

James Finnigan and his Florida Tech Men’s Tennis teammates took their talents down south to Miami Shores, Florida in their first true road test of the season.

The team gave it all they could but in the end, conceded the match to the No. 2 Barry 9 - 0.

Finnigan and Ricardo Corona teamed up in the number 2 Doubles position and went down 8 – 3 to Matias Larregina and Daniel Ventura.

The Berkeley Institute won the 2018 Bermuda School Sports Federation Senior School Track Meet with a slim ten point win over Saltus Grammar School.

Berkeley used a strong Relay performance to edge past Saltus with 541.5 points. Saltus finished second on 531.5 while CedarBridge Academy finished third with 529.

Although they’re missing out on the Sussex squad’s tour to Cape Town, don’t feel too sorry for Laurie Evans and Rawlins as they are still getting a dose of pre-season vitamin D as part of the South side taking on the North in Barbados.

In Freisenbruch-Meyer Continental Bowling League action at the Warwick Lanes saw the Cubs defeat the Under Dawgs 27.5 - 2.5, while The Invaders defeated the Pinjammers 26 – 4. A total of 265 points were scored in a Bermuda Basketball Winter League Sponsored by ONE Double Header.

A total of 37 Archers completed in the Bermuda School and Club League Term 2.

The competition sees the scores for Bare Bow (BB) and Compound Bows (CU). David Semos who organizes the League runs David Semos Archery while Indigo Archery is run by Cynde Semos.

The archers of this league attend Dellwood, BHS, St George’s Prep, Warwick, Saltus and Home school.
