Countdown to Bermuda - Azorean Select  (SOCCER)

The Bermuda Men's National Select team will play a match against Sao Miguel Azorean Select on Saturday, May 25th at the National Sports Center as the road to the Gold Cup continues.

The Bermuda Football Association were invited to be a part of the 170th anniversary celebrations of the first arrival of Portuguese immigrants to the island by playing a match against the team from Sao Miguel.

Nathan Trott picked up the Premier League 2 Division Save of the Year Award.

Trott’s save came with West Ham united leading Liverpool FC 1 – 0, dove to his right to deny a Liverpool strikers shot from six yards out, Trott pushed the shot onto the upright before the play was cleared.

Nathan Simons represented Canal Winchester High School Men’s Track and Field during the Central District Division 1 Championships.

Simons would lead off for the Canal Winchester Men’s Varsity 4x100 Relay team that clocked a winning time of 42.63.

Simons would then run the third leg for the Canal Winchester Men’s Varsity 4x200 Relay team that also clocked a winning time of 1:27.42.
