Nicholas Narraway was back in action representing Team California p/b Verge in the Valley of the Sun Bike Race.
Competing in the Grand Canyon State, High Desert Nutrition Road Race, Narraway was involved in a large major crash.
Narraway was unable to finish as his bike frame is broken, he and many others who did not finish, however were give a finishing time, because the crash happened within the final 10km (standard practice).
Narraway was awarded a time of 3:38.15, which was 6:29 behind the stage winner Brody McDonald.
After Two Stages, Narraway is in 72nd place with a total time of 3:58.02, he is 7:00 off the Overall Leader Joshua Lebo.
