The 173-kilometer French Cup Race took place in cold, rainy, and windy conditions.
Hopkins would finish 25th out of 88 finishers, with a field of 153 starters.
Hopkins clocked a time of 4:01:48, six seconds behind the winner Florentin Lecamus-Lambert.
