The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s (BBA) Flying Colors Mountain Bike Race Series continued with racing at Ferry Reach in the East End, all the riders were tested by a difficult and challenging course set up by the organizers.
Dominique Mahyo won the Male A Division race clocking a time of 56:05.1, Mark Hatherley finished second and Neil de ste Croix finished third. The Male Veteran Division race was won by Dexter Swan who crossed the line in a time of 44:31.6. Hirschi Hans finished second and Charles Swart was third.
Matthew Oliveira’s time of 42:38.7 saw him win the Male B Division race, BBA President Peter Dunne finished second and Timothy Fox finished third, while in the Male Novice Division race Billy Phillips crossed the line first clocking 32:25.3, while Clive Francis finished second and Ussef Eve finished third.
Karen Smith won the Female Veteran Division race clocking 41:16.6, while the Female B Division race line honors went to Ashley Kirkpatrick who recorded a time of 46:05.6. The Female Novice Division, Ali Watlington crossed the line first in the Class with a time of 32:57.6, Joanne Medeiros finished second and Belinda Castree finished third.
Dylan Hill’s time of 31:07.1 saw him win the Junior Male 13-15 Division race, while Kaden Hopkins finished second and Zion Dowling finished third. In the Male 12 & Under Age Group Division Malik Joell finished first with a time of 16:40.9, Rayne Kowalchuk was second and Eusebio King-Mills finished third.
Tristan Narraway came away with the Junior Female 13-15 Age Group Division race win recording a time of 31:30.8, Victoria Davis finished second and Jessie Godfrey finished third. In the Female 12 & Under Age Group Division Kayla Raymond crossed the line first in a time of 15:04.9, Cali Lindo finished second and Logan Watson-Brown finished third.
