110 cyclists from 20 countries including Bermuda arrived in Curacao, to begin taking part in the Caribbean Cycling Championships. Results for the Bermuda riders will not be coming soon as the following was posted on the Events Facebook page in response to a question from someone asking for the time Trial Results - “Tomorrow at the award ceremony the official results will be posted.”
The Bermuda team consists of Nicole Mitchell, Dominique Mayho, Darren Glasford, Zoenique Williams and Shannon Lawrence.
The news coming out of Curacao on the first day of competition was that it was a great race for the women as well as for men.
Mitchell was the second Female on the Start List behind Gerda Fokker from Curacao, while Williams was 8th off the start blocks.
