Gabriella Arnold captured her fourth career Medal by taking third place in the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships Female Road Race.
The winner of the 44.4 kilometer race was Keiana Lester of Trinidad & Tobago with Oriana Thielman in second, Bermuda’s other Female rider Kamryn Minors finished 6th.
Bermuda's Boys raced well with Justin Ferreira finishing 4th in the 15/16 category at this time Shomari Steede's raced well in his inaugural effort in the regional championship and finishing 11th, he now has a better idea of the level of the competition.
In the older boys category Nate Hartwig was the top local finisher in 10th place. Deshi Smith was plagued by mechanical issues which saw him drop from the peloton and riding solo for the last five laps of the race finishing 18th, while Nico Barclay Did Not Finish.
