Keturah Bulford-Trott, Caitlyn Bobb, Za'Kayza Parsons, and their UMBC Women's Indoor Track and Field teammates re-started the 2023-24 season and produced many strong results at the Nittany Lion Challenge.
The 4x400m relay team of Leanne McDonald, Genelle Stephens, Shannel Sibblies, and Bobb finished fourth with a time of 3:47.90. This time retains their lead within the America East in the 4x400, set at the Navy Invitational and improved by over 2.5 seconds.
Junior Za'Kayza Parsons advanced to the 60m finals, coming in with a time of 7.86, finishing eighth out of 43 participants.
Bobb continued a strong opening campaign to her season, clocking a 24.27 in the 200m, and earning another top-three finish. With that time, she holds the fastest time within the America East in the 200m for the indoor season. Bulford-Trott finished 29th clocking a time of 26.49.
Parsons competed in the Long Jump, Parsons finished with a best mark of 5.31m to finish in 7th place.
