Sancho Smith and his Clayton State University Men’s Track and Field teammates opened their 2024 Outdoor season at the Victor Icebreaker Duals finishing in third place.
Smith ran the ninth fastest time in the Men’s 1500m run with a time of 4:13.05.
Clayton State then concluded the meet with a second and third-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay. The team of Smith, Terry Mitchner, Camron Gaddis, and Rakiem Barnes finished with a time of 3:25.54 while Nehemiah Horton, Adarius Andrews, Davonte Jackson, and Mykell Strickland finished right behind with a time of 3:27.38.
