 Bermudian Shianne Smith competed in the Championnats de France Elite Track & Field Meet.
Taking to the track for the Women’s 400m Hurdles, Smith finished 5th in Heat Two with a time of 59:37, just missing out on advancing to the Semi-Finals.
Smith earlier this month set a new Bermuda National Record in the French National Track & Field Meet 2 Colmar, Smith clocked a new Record Time of 59.03, breaking her previous record of 59.74, which she set back on May 24th 2015 in France.
