The Bermuda Football Coaches Association (BFCA) will hold its Annual General Meeting for members on Monday, November 14th at 8 pm @ Bermuda College campus.
Election of Executive Officers will be held for the following positions:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Plus three (3) posts of Executive Member
Any persons interested or considering running for a position on the BFCA Executive should register their interest for the position of office by emailing communication to bfca@gmail.com by Monday, November 7th, 2022.
To participate in the election of officers persons are required to be current financial members for 2022-2023. The membership dues are $50 and can be paid in advance via online transfer to HSBC account # 011‐113669‐001. Please include your name on the payment & dues for 2022-2023.
Dues can also be paid on the night at the AGM.
The BFCA also would like to remind coaches of the upcoming Matrix Soccer Academy Coaching Clinic that will be held from November 11th – 14th, 2022 @ Bermuda College.
This 9-hour course is the first step of the ladder in gaining a certificate in the Award-Winning World-Renowned Matrix Soccer Coaching Ethos.
Matrix is a skills-based academy system for young players up to the age of 16 years, which has been endorsed and filmed by UEFA and is highly rated by many international coaches and players.
Matrix was founded by Charlie Jackson – current skills development coach at Manchester City and Moorland School, Clitheroe. Charlie has previously coached at Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, and the Scottish FA and is a UEFA-qualified coach.
Charlie will lead the course instruction assisted by Matrix instructors from the UK and USA.
The Matrix is a paradigm shift in how footballers can and should be developed. It is a system based around thousands of carefully designed technical drills using real game scenarios in a highly contextual, peer-led environment that is proven to develop superior footballing skills.
