Raising the Bar, in partnership with Schools To Know, is turning up the intensity of opportunity for Bermuda’s young people—bringing together academics, athletics, and international exposure in one powerful, unified platform.
At the heart of this initiative is the upcoming Boarding School Fair, taking place on April 24th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, where families will connect directly with leading international institutions and gain access to pathways that extend far beyond the island.
But this is more than a traditional fair.
Running alongside it is a high-level Soccer and Basketball Showcase, designed to put Bermuda’s talent on full display in a professional, high-performance environment. The Soccer Showcase will run from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the Basketball Showcase from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, which will be led by Coach Reed of Team Hurricanes.
This is where preparation meets opportunity—where student-athletes step onto a stage built for visibility, growth, and next-level development.
What sets this experience apart is its global coaching presence.
Spanish coaches from Nastic Sports Academy will work side-by-side with US-based and a few Bermuda local coaches, creating a dynamic, international training environment across both soccer and basketball. The result is a rare blend of styles, knowledge, and standards—delivered directly to Bermuda’s student-athletes.
The reach of the event extends even further.
Live streaming and premium digital coverage of the showcase will be broadcast beyond the island, placing Bermuda’s talent in front of overseas schools, recruiters, and decision-makers in real time—while creating lasting digital assets for every participant.
And the momentum doesn’t stop there.
Raising the Bar, alongside Nastic Sports Academy, continues to push boundaries across multiple sporting disciplines—engaging with sailing programs, delivering targeted training sessions for a youth football team preparing for international competition in Spain, observing national football academy environments, and connecting with Bermuda Karting Association events.
This is not just about one event. It’s about building a culture of exposure, ambition, and access.
