Daniel Augustus successfully defended his lead to be crowned the champion of the 2025 Gosling’s Moongate Tour Championship, securing the title at the Port Royal Golf Course after posting back-to-back strong performances.
Augustus, who carried a commanding three-stroke advantage into the second and final round, maintained his lead with resilient play on the demanding Port Royal course.
He shot a final round of 4-over par 75, which brought his two-round total to 5-over par, a score that was comfortably enough to secure the championship.
Veteran golfer Dwayne Pearman staged a strong final-round effort to climb into second place. Pearman shot a commendable second round of 1-over par 72, lifting his total score for the tournament to 9-over par.
Rounding out the podium in third place was Camiko Smith. Smith finished his second round with a score of 5-over par 76, giving him a total score of 10-over par for the championship.
The victory underscores Augustus's consistent form and mental toughness across the two days of competition.
