The Bermuda Hogges took the lead in the 21st minute when a Zeiko Lewis cross was turned into the back of the net by Keishen Bean, this lead only lasted two minutes Keith Detelj equalized from close range when Bermuda Hogges goalkeeper Tahj Bell could not hold on to a shot. In the 31st minute the visiting Long Island Rough Riders took the lead when Ben Arikian scored and then in the 40th minute Adriano Gabriele made it 3 – 1 to Long Island.
The Long Island Rough Riders went up 4 – 1 in the 60th minute when defender Tom Wharf scored from a corner, but the Bermuda Hogges pulled a goal back in the 78 minute when Bean scored his second game.
