Four lucky players from the ABC Football School’s 2010 Next Generation Bermuda Camp will spend time in Spain during the summer.
Jibri-Lawrence Salaam who plays for BAA, Jasmin Spence who plays for FC United, Jacob Greene from the St. George’s Colts and Jahkari Furbert from the Dandy Town Hornets were all selected by Valencia Football Academy coaches who were on the island conducting the camp.
Carlos de Lera from Valencia said, ‘We happy to be returning to Bermuda for our second camp later this year, but first we wanted to congratulate these young players on being selected to travel to the Valencia camp during the summer.”
de Lera also announced that Valencia will be working with the ABC Football School over the next two years to help develop coaches and players, two coaches will be working with Andrew Bascome at the Saltus facility to ensure that the methods of Valencia are taught.”
Kim Morgan from Endurance said, “The company has pledged their support of the programme to the tune of $75,000.00 over a three year period, we believe this is a way for us to give back to the community and it is something we look forward to doing.”
