The BPGA Fritz Reiter Match Play Championship tournament continued at Belmont Hills, with quarter-final play.
Bermuda Professional Golf Tour’s Jack Daniels Series Points leader Scott Roy advanced to the Semi-Finals after he defeated Ocean View Golf Club President Quinton Sherlock 4 & 2. Scott Roy shot a Hole-In-One on the Par 3 Seventh Hole to take control of the match.
Defending Match Play Champion Steven Roy also advanced, he will face off against his brother Scott Roy in the Semi-Finals. Steven Roy defeated Belmont Hills Golf Club Professional Twilton Smith 4 & 3 to advance.
The Dwayne Pearman defeated Paul Adams 4 & 2 in their Quarter-Final match while Eric West had to shoot -7 under to defeat Daniel Augustus 2 - 1.
The Semi-Finals will see West taking on Pearman and the Roy’s will do battle in the other.
