As www.islandstats.com reported yesterday, the St. George's Colts concluded their tour to the United States by celebrating as U15 Champions of the North Atlanta Soccer Association Boys' Classic.
The Media Finally will give them some coverage as the team arrived back on the Island this afternoon.
St. George's Coltsscored 18 goals during the tour, with Keshun Smith finishing as the leading scorer with 7 goals, others to find the net wereKyajee Wilson found the net 3 times, Steven Symonds and Vashonte Wilson both scored twice. Kodi Carlington, Nacori Smith and Arden Heyliger each scored once.
Charles Marshall finished the tournament with 3 shut outs, only conceding one goal during the opening match during the tournament.
St. George's ended their tour of the United States with an overall record of 5 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.
St. George's Colts Technical Director, Richard Todd said, “I am pleased with the progress the group has made this week. The players worked hard training and playing games over the last few days, it was important for the boys to stay focused and be at their physical best for the tournament. The potential to further develop the relationship with the clubs in Alabama looks very promising, and will provide valuable development opportunities for our players in the future".
