St. George's Colts Under 15 team won their first match in the group stages of the North Atlanta Soccer Association Boys Classic Tournament.
The tournament format has four teams playing round robin matches in the group stages, with the top two teams on points advancing to play in the championship match. The team is being coached by Karl Roberts and assisted by Richard Todd and Neil Paynter.
Playing against the Norcross Fury @ the Mud Creek Soccer Complex Colts fell behind early in the first half. Stephen Symonds equalized for St. George's to send the teams in level at 1 - 1 at the half.
An improved second half performance saw the St. George’s Colts close down some of the space they were giving to the opponent to play in the first half, and score three unanswered goals. Vashonte Wilson, Kodi Carlington and Nacori Smith all scored to seal a 4 – 1 win for St. George's.
