Day Four started with an early rise at 06:30 am and continued with a physical session from 7:00 to 8:00am. After a triple session yesterday, the A.M. session focused on a light warm-up and multiple stretching exercises.
The players relaxed after breakfast until 2:30pm, when the tour group travelled to the training ground of Barnet FC. Barnet FC has been a home to multiple Bermudian players such as, Damon Ming and currently Tyrell Burgess under the stewardship of Paul Fairclough.
Paul is a dear friend of Paul Scope who was very influential in having provided BBFS with access to Bartnet FC's first class training grounds.
Paul Fairclough (Director of Football) addressed the players on the UK coaching setup and the particulars they look for in a potential player. Paul then took the group of 29 players and conducted a 60 minute session based on technical skills and match play.
The BBFS Founder and Director of Coaching and Youth Development Dennis Brown was very impressed with the entire Barnet FC structure and thanked Mr. Fairclough for having taken the time out of his busy schedule to work with the boys of BBFS.
After dinner, the players had to give a brief presentation on their room-mate. This was part of their team building exercise and to prepare them for speaking/presentations, in a group setting. It was a very interesting and informative session, with many surprises and unanswered questions.
Tomorrow the team will rise at 6:30 for another A.M. session from 7:00 - 8:00 am. The group will then prepare for their first 2 matches, with both the U10's and U13's taking on a select team of Peckham Town FC.
