In Temperature reaching 100 degrees, the Bermuda Hogges have taken a 2 – 0 lead into the half time break against the Northern Virginia Royals.
Keishan Bean created the Hogges first opportunity but he hit the upright from 20 yards in the 3rd minute, Tahj Bell made a good save in the 12th minute to keep the scored level. Troy Tucker broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute with a 15 yard shot along the ground just inside the far post and a few minutes later Darius Cox doubled the Hogges lead with a 40 yard free kick into the top far corner. The Royals had the ball in the net but it was disallowed in the 41st minute for offside.
Northern Virginia Royalspulled a goal back in the second half, but the Hogges manage to hang on for a hard fought win.
