While on the island, Roosevelt Bouie Jr. the General Manager of the Buffalo Stampede will offer two players a chance to make the roster of the Premier Basketball League team in the USA.
The Buffalo Stampede General Manager Bouie held talks with Lee Greene from the S.K.Y Streetball Syndicate late last year regarding possible opportunities with Bermuda and the Bermudian basketball players.
During a Press Conference last night it was revealed that Bouie will be holding a clinic inside the MSA Gymnasium beginning at 5:30pm to get a look at some of Bermuda’s talent.
Bouie the famed center for Syracuse University (1976-1980) hails from Kendall, NY where he owns and operates US Lega Basket, an international sport management firm specializing in professional basketball development.
After a high successful pro playing career, Bouie has become a household name in Italy, where he played for 16 years. He runs international exposure camps for players, coaches and agents throughout the year placing numerous players, coaches, and sport management staff in positions worldwide Bouie said, "The Premier Basketball League (PBL) is a professional men's basketball league that began play in January 2008. The league had ten teams for the 2008 season and thirteen teams for the 2009 season. In addition the league helps to promote them through contact with other leagues around the World”.
