The Bermuda Golf Association held the first annual Bermuda Team Medal Championships at the Riddell’s Bay Golf Club. The weather was not as accommodating as the players would have liked but a full field braved the elements.
The field consists of men’s teams for the men’s division and ladies teams for the ladies division. The men’s teams consist of four players with the best three scores to count towards the team prize. The ladies teams consist of three ladies with the best two scores to count. There are also prizes for individual men and ladies medalist.
This year’s prizes were awarded to the men’s team of Jarryd Dillas, William Haddrell, Nick Mansell and Camiko Smith representing the Bermuda Golf Association team, (BGA). Second place went to Brett Henshilwood, Steward Mustard, Simon Onabowale and Cleveland Smith representing Ocean View 1. The men’s medalist was Michael McCrimmom from the Tuckers Point Club team.
The Ladies division saw the BGA team of Katyna Rabain and Tariqah Walikraam take top honors. In second place was Linda Down, Trash Nash and Ann Feakins from the Mid Ocean Club. The ladies medalist was Rabain.
