A week after announcing Mary Phillip former professional women's player (England Captain with 65 caps, Arsenal - Women's European Cup Winner, League and FA Champion (multiple occasions) and Brian Hall will host a Mid Term Camp beginning February 8th and will run until the 12th, Director of Coaching for Bermuda’s Brazilian Soccer School Dennis Brown said, “It is with great pleasure to bring to our shores two coaches of immense experience Mary Phillips and Bryan Hall to conduct our Mid-Term Camp. The Camp will also feature an experienced coach specialized in the Brazilian training methodology and we will provide further details nearer to the camp date”.
“In keeping with our mandate to expose our players to a wide spectrum of quality coaching, to further increase player education and personal development, each participant will leave with a better knowledge and understanding of the process to self improvement and be challenged to increase their personal training times”, continued Brown.
Brown concluded, “Although the BBSS specialize in the Brazilian methodology, we will continue to expose our players to international coaches, education, cultures and opportunities”.
Hall’s background dates back to the 1980’s when he played for several successful non-league teams as well as representing London County in team trials at Southampton FC - then the English Division 1, now called the Premiership, and a short period of Academy Football at Charlton Athletic.
In 1982, Hall founded Peckham Town Football Club www.peckhamtownfootballclub.com - who currently have fourteen teams within the structure including teams from under 8’s through to Centre Of Excellence teams and senior adult sides.
The club also has a very successful girls segment (the wildcats) with teams at under 11’s and under 15’s, the under 11’s Wildcats are currently London Girls League champions winning both this seasons title and last season.
They have been promoted by the London Football Association to compete two age groups above themselves in the South East London & Kent Girls League where they are currently fourth in the division.
