Due to Ten inches of rain in twelve hours Daniel Augustus and the rest of the field in the Dixie Amateur Championships got the news that their First Round has been postponed.
The staffs of the Dixie Amateur and Heron Bay Golf Club will spend the day attempting to clean-up and rebuild the washed out sand traps and wait for the canals to recede.
Augustus was scheduled to Tee Off at 9:30am Bermuda Time but will have to wait another 24 hours, as the First Round will now Tee Off on Sunday, all of Sunday Scheduled rounds will now take place on Monday with those that make the cut playing 26 holes on Tuesday.
