Brazilian Soccer School Update
Some 87 kids are currently taking part in the Bermuda's Brazilian Soccer School (BBSS) training camp going on at the BAA Field.

BBSS CEO Calvin Blankendal said, “PRIDE visited the BBSS camp on Tuesday, November 10th and facilitated an anti-drug presentation to the players and coaches. One of the BBSS mandates is to operate a 100% drug free football school”.

Meanwhile yesterday Day 3 of the camp saw the coaching staff and players enjoyed a wet but very enjoyable day at BAA. Blankendal continued, “Under 5 - Under 8 players were introduced to; various listening/thinking games, challenging technical football skills and a brief intro into Brazilian Futbol de Salao with the size 2 ball”.

Blankendal went on to say, “The Under 9 – Under 16 players continued to work on improving their individual goals such as; control with the inside/outside of the foot, juggling, various Brazilian stepovers and showcased their new skills in various games outdoors”.

“Today all the players will review all of the; passing, juggling, dribbling and technical skills they have learned thus far. Tomorrow they will be assessed on the progress they have made during the 5 day camp. There will be a special closing out camp ceremony starting at 4 pm tomorrow. We have asked all parents/guardians (and players) to bring your cameras”, concluded Blankendal.
