For the second straight month, Quinnipiac University men's soccer senior goalkeeper Freddy Hall, has been named the Quinnipiac Male Athlete of the Month for October. This is the thitd time that Hall has been recognized as Quinnipiac's top male athlete.
Hall posted impressive stats in the month of October, leading Quinnipiac to five Northeast Conference wins. In the month, he recorded five shutouts in starting all nine of his team's games. He is currently leading the nation in total saves with 101, while ranking fifth in the country with an .886 save percentage.
Hall allowed just two goals in the first eight games of October, including three consecutive shutouts at Fairleigh Dickinson and Sacred Heart and against Long Island. Against Saint Francis (Pa.) on Oct. 4, Hall turned aside a season-high 11 saves in a 3-0 shutout. One of the top goalies in the country, Hall was also the topic of a feature story on NCAA.com during the month.
