The Continental Bowling League title race remains a high-stakes pursuit following a dominant Week 15, as the top two sides clinical victories kept the gap at the summit unchanged.
While the Nifty Rollers continue to set the pace, the Under Dawgs delivered the performance of the weekend to ensure the leaders cannot afford a single slip-up in the final stretch of the 2025/26 season.
In the standout result of the round, second-placed Under Dawgs dismantled Spicenix with a ruthless 22-5 victory.
Spicenix, currently sitting sixth in the table, had no answer for the precision of the Dawgs, who looked every bit like title contenders. The win ensures that the gap between first and second remains razor-thin, putting immense pressure on the league leaders to remain perfect.
The Nifty Rollers faced a potentially tricky encounter against the fourth-placed Astronauts, but ultimately cruised to a 20-7 win. The result cements their status at the top and leaves the Astronauts looking over their shoulders as the race for the top four tightens.
The most competitive action of the week took place between Odd Balls and The Invaders.
Third-placed Odd Balls narrowly avoided an upset, clawing their way to a 14-13 victory over a resilient Invaders side. Despite sitting seventh, The Invaders pushed their higher-ranked opponents to the final frame, but the Odd Balls held their nerve to maintain their podium spot.
The fifth placed Cubs boosted their hopes of climbing the table with a solid 16-11 win over ninth placed Sunset, and eighth placed New Hope were inactive this week as they took their scheduled Bye.
