Round Five of the Bermuda Nitro Racing Association delivered thrilling action at the Southside Racetrack, with Kwaz Dill putting on a masterclass in the Buggy Class while the E-Buggy division produced a fiercely contested battle.
In the Buggy Class, Kwaz Dill was in a league of his own, delivering a commanding performance that saw him secure a victory defined by pure dominance. Dill surged into an early lead that proved unassailable, showcasing impeccable driving and machine reliability.
His incredible run resulted in him lapping the entire field before cruising to the win. Dill completed 35 laps in a blistering time of 20:25.678, stamping his authority on the class.
The real drama unfolded behind him as Ryan Pacheco and Marcel Hatherley engaged in a protracted battle for the remaining podium spots. Pacheco ultimately edged out his rival for second place, clocking a 34-lap time of 25:35.744. Hatherley finished close behind in third, completing 33 laps in 20:06.242.
The competition was far tighter in the highly charged E-Buggy Class, which saw Joe Valadao navigate the close racing to claim the top spot. Valadao took the victory with a 16-lap time of 10:13.395.
The fight for second was just as intense, with Kimo Tavares securing a strong runner-up finish after completing 15 laps in 10:00.219. Naeem Spencer completed the podium places, taking a hard-fought third after clocking a 15-lap time of 10:30.864.
The closely contested E-Buggy result, coupled with Dill’s supremacy in the Buggy Class, ensures that the overall season championship will intensify significantly as the Bermuda Nitro Racing Association heads into the crucial final rounds.
